Star of Bandhavgarh National Park, Kankatti Tigress
Kankatti tigress was sighted today for almost over 45min in Tala, Bandhavgarh. She has recently given birth to 3 cubs and they are hardly seen. She is a successful mother and is raising up her 2nd litter of cubs. She is famous because of her lost left eye and one torn ear, literally meaning ‘Kankatti’.
Our senior naturalist Gudda found her today just after 10min they entered Tala gate. She was seen in Chakradhara in the meadows. She leisurely sat down in the grass, then walked up towards the gypsy, crossed road, went towards waterhole and drank water. An amazing show for over 45min. The guests were overwhelmed with joy and they said that the tigress was like a star today!!!!
