From the kitchens of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pugdundeesafaris.com\/\">Pugdundee<\/a>, we bring you a dish that can be made from the flowers of Palash, also known as Tesu \/ Flame of Forests due to the striking colour of their flowers. These trees are commonly found across the jungles of Central India. Interestingly, the gum obtained from the tree known as \u2018kamarkas\u2019 is also used for many traditional medicinal recipes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tesu Ke Phool \u2013 Edible Flowers Recipe<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Serves :<\/strong> 4-6<\/p>\n<p><strong>Preparation Time:<\/strong> \u00a045 minutes<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fresh Flowers of Palash: 250gms<\/li>\n<li>Ghee: 200gms<\/li>\n<li>Onions &#8211; chopped: 200gms<\/li>\n<li>Garlic &#8211; chopped finely: 50 gms<\/li>\n<li>Bay leaf: 2 number<\/li>\n<li>Cinnamon stick : 1<\/li>\n<li>Black cardamom: 2<\/li>\n<li>Cumin seed whole: 3 gms<\/li>\n<li>Red chilly dry: 3-4<\/li>\n<li>Hing ( Asafoetida ) : 5 gms<\/li>\n<li>Dried green mango powder : 5 gms<\/li>\n<li>Fresh lemon juice: 15 gms<\/li>\n<li>Salt to taste<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Method <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Boil petals in water.<\/li>\n<li>Add bay leaf, cinnamon stick, black cardamom, and lemon juice.<\/li>\n<li>Boil them together for 10-15 minutes. Then remove the same.<\/li>\n<li>Separate the petals from the spices and squeeze them gently to drain the excess water.<\/li>\n<li>Heat ghee in a pan and add chopped garlic.
